FDA Chief Sees No Way to Ban CBD
Products containing CBD may not have much to fear, FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn said Wednesday, calling it “a fool’s game” to attempt to ban existing products on the market.
Hahn clarified in a public speech to the National Association ofState Departments of Agriculture “People are using these products,…We’re not going to be able to say you can’t use these products. It’s a fool’s game to try to even approach that.”
Hahn went on further to say “We have to be open to the fact that there might be some value in these products, and certainly Americans think that’s the case, but we want to get them information to help them make the right decisions.”
Hahn had no word as to when any of this would happen, or not, as the comments may imply.
